Hi, I'm Sharon
I am a stained glass artist working in the Tiffany copper foil style
Creativity has always been part of my life. My dad taught me how to embrioder and my mom taught me how to sew at a very early age. I have also dabbled in other arts, but ultimately, it was stained glass that became my passion.
I took my first stained glass course in the 1980’s and began creating pieces for myself and family. What began as a hobby, turned to a comfort, and a distraction after cancer diagnosis in 2012. Art can have an amazing influence on one’s mental health.
Creating stained glass for myself and for others brings a sense of fulfillment. The interplay of light and colour wondrous! Traditional pieces are modernized by incorporating driftwood, wirework and beading.
